Ok now for the explanation...this was suppose a 3 hr canoe/fishing trip. Eric didn't do a very good job with the details...how long the river is and not just the roads to get to our drop offs. We were literally 25 minutes from our house and the drop offs were about 20 minutes from each other. However this 3 hr ride turned into 9 hrs. I am so very glad that we over packed like we always do and that Eric brought his trolling motor because we would have been out there for many more hours if not. Needless to say this will be our last fishing outing for quite a while. I seriously thought that this trip would never end!!

We are at week 29 here

We will hit 30 weeks tomorrow and I will post those as soon as Eric takes some. We had our first childbirth class and it was the basic stuff about labor and delivery and questions from people in class. I keep having people ask me if I am going to get an epidural and I honestly don't know? There was one other person out of our 10 couples in the class that was not going to use drugs. I kind of want to see how far I can go without drugs. I guess we will never know unless I try. So we might be taking another class about different positions during delivery...I know I am crazy! :)

Here are a couple of belly shots from the last couple of weeks. I had my 27 week check up today and it was a great appointment. I only gained 3 lbs! Way better than my 10 lbs from last month! :) The belly is measuring right at 27 weeks and the baby's heartbeat was in the 140s. My midwife said everything looked good!! Check back next week for some more belly by the week shots!

For an early 30th birthday present, I surprised Eric with a trip to Disneyworld. We were there for 2 days and we had a lot of fun taking in the sites. It was very hot, but similar to the DC weather so we were ok.

Eric and I went to Utah for Memorial Day to visit family. My parents, Emerson and Michael met us there to visit for the weekend as well. We hung out at Grandma and Grandpa's house, went up to the canyons and Park City.
