And then there were four...our Little Miss is born

Preszler Marie
Born May 10th, 2011
 6lb 14oz

My birth story...
Caleb and went to my doctor appt the morning of May 10th and I didn't think that the baby would be coming anytime soon. They checked my BP and it was really high. The nurse got my midwife and they were going to check me and then check my BP again after the appt. So the midwife said that no matter what they were going to induce me the following morning. OK...so she started to check me and was surprised to find out that I was a loose 6. She looked and me and said you are having this baby today. Really? Not really what I wanted to hear. I had Caleb with me and Eric was at work. She said to go get Caleb settled and meet Margie at the hospital. I got to the car and called Eric and told him to come home now. He said ok, he was on his way. We dropped Caleb off at Karen's (daycare lady) house and headed to the hospital to meet our newest member of the family. It was funny when we got there we walked over to the nurses station and the nurses were looking at us like what do you think you are doing here.Thankfully our midwife was also at the station. They took us to the last room on the floor and started to set us up, this was around 11 or so. They started the pitocin and we waited. I think that it was almost 1pm by this point. I was going to attempt no drugs again, but I only got to a 7 and needed drugs. The contractions were much more intense than the 8s were with Caleb. My BP was getting high again and the midwife told me that it was probably a good idea to get it. By the time it started to kick in, I was falling asleep and Eric was eating his lunch. All of a sudden Margie came storming into the room and said that she couldn't here the baby's heart beat so she need to check me. She went to look and said wow we are ready to start pushing. I pushed 3 times and our little miss was here. I think that both Eric and were in shock when we realized it was a she. I thought it was a boy and therefore Eric thought the same thing. We are so blessed to have a happy healthy baby girl and we look forward to watching her grow.

***Side note***
We had the same nurse and midwife that delivered Caleb, so that was pretty cool!
